Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly, is well-known for his distinctive style of rapping. Baker was originally born in Houston, Texas U.S. on April 22nd 1990, to parents of English Scottish German descent. The first few years of his life, Baker traveled along with his missionary parents. James Colson Baker was depressed and was unemployed when Sonia Alane, his mother had to leave his family when he was just Nine years old. Baker relocated to Denver with his father and stayed there for a while. Baker was bullied by fellow kids because of his poverty. When he reached sixth grade, Baker started to study the art of rap. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born on the 22nd of April, 1990, in Texas. His songs are known for their ability to blend modern hip-hop and rock and alternative music. Baker produced four mixtapes before signing to Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. The Cleveland rapper who penned songs at the speed that of a fast bullet saw an explosive rise when, 2011 was the year he switched from self-released mixtapes to established label. The career of this Cleveland rapper skyrocketed after the release of his debut mixtape late in the year.
