Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor and a member of the SSC's board since 2011, is the co-founding artistic director of the newly formed theater firm Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. Also, she was the producer of costumes/sets as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC when she was the Artistic Director of SSC. In her final year, she was a lighting designer and director for SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the group, but the year that she made her directorial debut. Other than acting she has also worked on a number of game-based series. Their two daughters and sisters were raised by her scientist father Richard F. Post, and poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school of choice. She was a cheerleader. She briefly studied at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post had previously been married Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) is Post's husband since 1982. The couple is blessed with two daughters. Post is a great actress, a wonderful wife and mom and an excellent role model for numerous Hollywood celebrities.
