Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her an undergraduate degree in Theatre and Communication. Following her move out of Missouri and into Los Angeles in 2004, she became involved in the theatre arts. This included acting as well as producing more than 20 musicals. The productions included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan as part of The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. While continuing to study improvisation in The Groundlings and becoming a company member of Theatre West Kelly also started finding roles on TV and film. Her unique voice and petite size has enabled her to play a variety of bright characters. Her work with Naomi Watts as Samara the villain on The Ring 2 is well recognized, but she's most well-known as the lively receptionist on Two and a Half Men. From 2011 to 2015 Kelly was a paralegal during the day and a party hopper in the evening as a series regular on the TV Land sitcom The Exes. As well she appeared as an Regular for the sitcom ABC Romantically Challenged where she as the flirty, sassy cousin that is Alyssa Miano. She also played the suburban mom who's over-stressed on CW No Tomorrow. Her singing soprano has been lent to a variety of animated shows such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. The most recent appearance was playing the dim, charming Cloud 9 staffer on NBC hit comedy Superstore. She leads a tranquil private life with her husband, and their two little children and enjoys sewing writing and helping out at school events.
